How easily have we ignored our today
to make our tomorrow special and rewarding,
when we know that today is what builds our tomorrow and the day after
today the mistakes you make, the opportunities you grab
are the one’s which will make or break you!
How easily have we tricked ourselves to believe that tomorrow is more important that Today
When we know unlike today, tomorrow is not even promised
How easily have we let our today slip out of our hands
without realising they are our tomorrows from the past!
How easily have we fooled ourselves into believing that sacrificing today
will get us our tomorrow which we always dreamt of
when we know that today is all we have and tomorrow will never come!
How easily are we sowing the seeds of unhappiness today and hoping that
tomorrow will turn them into an orchard of Happiness!
-How easily have we wasted all our lives in this game of Today or Tomorrow
As a child I saw a tree grow back in my yard
It mesmerised me by its beauty
It taught me how even the thickest branch
needed the support of the thin roots to stay strong
It taught me how being kind and giving need not
come with expectations
It taught me how it was okay to be heavy
with the leaves of thought, guilt and regret
Because there will always be a winter
when you shed it all and start fresh again
It taught me how much ever dust of mistakes settles on me
there will be rain which will wash them away

Does taking this risk scare you? What about the one you take everyday? Remember that time when you were really exhausted, came back home all tired and fell asleep on the couch? Did that not involve risk of the building falling down? you never know, but does that make you live on ground forever? Everything you do involves risk just the amount of it changes. When that was worth taking why is this not?
TAKE THE RISK, embrace it and wear it like you wear your favourite perfume and even if you fail, still love it because you loved it for once.
-An advice from a father to a daughter
I often hear people say “We should live each day like it’s our last”
By this they mean we must live freely but isn’t it true that we can live it freely because we know it’s not our last day and we have ample of time? Had we known that it is our last last day would we still have the courage to live it in the same way? Would we still keep the smile of our face and the sparkle in our eyes?
Not everyone is ANAND.

There will be times when nobody understands you, but in this time you should not stop believing in yourself. Just because they don’t have the caliber to understand you and your opinions, does not make you wrong. Remember how we blamed out maths textbooks when our answers did not match? That is what they are doing, don’t let them put you down.
You are an ART, some people will understand, appreciate, call you a masterpiece, while some will call it a paper with figures and colours. All you need to know is that you don’t need them to believe in you, all you need is you to have faith in yourself.
If they don’t understand what you say don’t stress your throat by yelling for their convenience rather, just walk away.
The one who understands you
